He drives his own small white car -- immaculately clean with room for three passengers as he drives. Explanations and descriptions of relics at Pergamon and sites in Izmir were clear and full. Nazim was promptly waiting for us at the gate of the port, took us to his car and off we went to Ephesus. He had good suggestions of places to take us, but let us choose what we wanted to do. He took us to Ephesus first which was the best thing as it was so hot later on in the day. I felt sorry for the large tours arriving as we were leaving. He took us to an excellent authentic restaurant for some vegetarian food (as we do not eat meat) and which was very reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend Nazim if you are planning on a visit to Kusadasi. He is great. He whisked us to Ephesus while giving an overview of what we could expect. Efficiently managed our way into the crowded site but took time to point out special features. Timothy Tatum, United States Jun 1/11 Nazim, was very professional, courteous, and an expert on the area. He maneuvered us around the crowds in order to see the things that interested me most. I would recommend him to others. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars was the high pressured sales we were given near the end of the tour by a rug dealer. Although the dealer was kind, we felt pressured to buy something. We should have been warned about what was coming and given the option of declining. Other than that it was a great tour. We had been to Ephasus before on a tour on a cruise, but were only able to stay about an hour, so were not interested in another brief tour. We spent nearly the whole day at the site, and Nazim was able to tailor the tour to our needs. We are pretty slow, but Nazim helped my wife when she needed help.
