Head for the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square. It's at this square that the 25th January Revolution took place and many people lost their lives to free Egypt.
At the Museum you see the breath-taking collection of king Tut-ankh-amon, including the king's golden mask, and many other masterpieces.
Visit the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Egypt's largest market with dozens of colourful shops. This is where you have all kinds of souvenirs, herbs and dates. |

- Pick-up at the hotel (or any other point in Cairo you find convenient).
- Drive to the Pyramids. See the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus.
- Have a camel/carriage ride across the Sahara (optional).
- Proceed to the Sphinx and see the Valley Temple.
- Have lunch in a local restaurant (optional).
- Visit the Egyptian Museum. You can see the mummies (optional).
- Proceed to the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.
- Optional : Nile ride (you never visit Cairo without going on the Nile. A beautiful relaxing trip in the centre of Cairo seeing all the famous buldings).
- Go back to the hotel (or any other place you choose). |
