What made my tours with Katka so special was the way she wove her personal history, and that of her family, into the political and cultural history. Her insightful store of knowledge allowed her to speak extemporaneously, rather than simply recite a litany of facts memorized as part of a set tourist-spiel, as well as answer the many questions I posed to her. She is incredibly personable with a great sense of humor. Dick Jordan, San Anselmo, CA, USA - September 2009 |
Thanks to your well-designed and fascinating introductory tour we were able to make the very most of our few days in your marvelous city, feeling very much at home. We loved the later tours in which you helped us feel the presence of Mozart and his particular affection for the people of Prague. I can hardly wait for the time when I can return to that magical place. When that time comes, you can be sure I'll be in touch with you, as you are certainly one of its best ambassadors! Celia Lata, Durham, NC, USA - July 2009 |
My students and I greatly appreciated your insights and flexibility in creating a tour suitable for our group of students and teachers. Your general survey of Prague motivated our students to use their spare time to return to several sights. I enjoyed getting to know more about your life in the Czech Republic and the effort you made to keep the tour focused on this opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the Czech Republic. I would highly recommend you to any student group. Tom Forsgren, Des Moines, IA, USA, March 2009 |
