After a 35 minute drive we start the Perth Hills Wine Tour.
As we climb the hill and as you look back you will see a vast expanse of land and the city of Perth in the background - you can see forever - our tour starts at the local cidery.
On to the wine region, stopping of for morning tea/lunch we'll visit the largest rose garden centre in Western Austrlia, taste home made dairy free organic chocolates.
We then drive through the national forest and see a little bit of the countryside of Perth - the real Perth!
On our way back we meander through the town site of Kalamunda high on the Escarpment and take a slow drive down the Historic Zig Zag Railway Drive overlooking the whole of Perth metro region - a fantastic sight!
Other venues to visit (time permitting) include: a home made Ice creamery, the largest stained glass window in the Southern Hemisphere, and Kalamunda History Village.
