In this 3 day tour I will take you to the old forgotten capitals of Thailand. Ayuthaya, Sukothai and all the way up to Chiang Mai.
We depart from Bangkok and visit all the highlights of Ayutthaya like Bang Pa In summer palace, the Wat Mahatat and Wat Chai Watanaram. We do this is a fun and local way!
The second day we drive to Sukothai which was the first real capital of Siam. Here we will discover the real countryside and visit the locals at home. We can see how people are weaving bamboo fishing nets and baby beds for example. If you love to experience how it is to be a rice farmer, you'll get the chance to go into the rice fields to plant or sow the rice.
Hidden between the rice fields we can find the ruins of the old city. When exploring this place by bike or local ride, I will explain about the happiness this city gave it's inhabitants in former days.
The last day we travel to Chiang Mai, the gem of Thailand. On the way we make several stops to see much more of Thailand. Free at leisure in Chiang Mai. |

Day 1:
08. 00 Depart Bangkok to Bang Pa In summer palace and Ayutthaya.
10. 30 Arrive and visit the palace, make boat trip along the river, visit beautiful temples.
13. 00 Local lunch and local rides trough the town of Ayutthaya.
16. 30 Check in to your chosen hotel.
Day 2:
08. 00 Depart to Sukothai.
13. 00 Arrive Sukothai and have tasteful lunch.
14. 00 Visit the Thai farmers countryside and the old capital of Siam.
18. 00 Check in to your chosen hotel.
Day 3:
08. 00 Depart to Chiang Mai.
On the way visit local markets, temples, elephant hospital etc. The stops on the way are all up to your interests and wishes.
17. 00 Arrive in Chiang Mai at your chosen hotel.
