An interesting history of Boston and its architecture, from the time the city was founded in 1630 until today. Learn how Boston 's three hills were used as part of the largest land-fill operation in the world. See how the first settlers viewed Boston - and who was here to greet them! Some of Boston's most interesting buildings are seen, including the Old North Church and Paul Revere's House in Boston's Italian North End.
We'll stroll the oldest areas of Boston including many of its nooks and crannies, as we explore the last remaining street from the 1700's, the original immigrant arrival area and now Boston's "Little Italy", and view the commercial and residential Harborside from the North End into Downtown.
You'll get the history and the stories behind the History. Like the Great Molasses Flood, which famous figure actually paid for the revolution out of his own pocket, and how Boston transformed its industrial Waterfront into a beautiful residential enclave. |
