Giraffe Center in Nairobi's Langata Suburb, which is the creation of Kenyan conservation organization - the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W. Kenya) The purpose of this center is to educate Kenyans about the country's wildlife and environment, and to give local and international visitors an opportunity to come into close contact with a wild animal, by feeding the world's tallest species - the giraffe! The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust - which is situated on the edge of the Nairobi National Park. The Trust is headquartered in Tsavo National Park, which is Kenya's largest wildlife refuge, harboring the country's single largest population of elephants. It is also the pioneer of Kenya's very effective conservation strategy to retrieve the highly endangered Black Rhino from extinction.Bomas of Kenya- A boma means a homestead ,just a few minutes from the city centre, numerous homesteads eflecting kenya's cocktail of culture |
