My Village and Guinea Pig Tasting |

Enjoy an authentic local experience! |

Huayllaccocha is my home town, it is a Quechua speaking village where few traditions still remain from Inca time -music, corn cultivation, little shrines, etc. This is where you see how that old culture of the Incas did not really disappear. People here have nice traditions as my parents have too. I am just lucky that I was born in such a beautiful place and now it is time for me to take people back in time to live the living culture. Huayllaccocha is a place where no tourists go, where you don't see anything designed for tourists. You find the natural state of one Quechua village, with its farming by hand, little land of local people and customs. A place where people eat guinea pig in only especial ocassions but if you come with me you will taste it made by locals as it should be, because you will find guinea pig any where in a restaurant but it is still a restaurant. Come with me to my village and you will love it. |
