During the city tour we'll drive around the historical center to look at the Moscow state university, the world famous Bolshoi theater, the notorious KGB building, and the Novodevichy convent.
We'll get to the Sparrow hills to look at the city from above. We will enjoy the panorama of the Kremlin from beyond the Moscow river, and talk about the turbulent history of the fortress. Then we'll drop into the Sculpture park to see the collection of sculptures that were removed from around Moscow at the end of Soviet era. At the end we'll walk through the Red Square and talk about St. Basil Cathedral, Lenin's mausoleum and the GUM- the beautiful 19th century shopping mall. We can have a quick tour of Moscow subway if you want. |
