The Masai Mara is classic African savanna. The sheer density of wildlife is amazing. Wherever you go in the Mara, you will see an astonishing amount of wildlife. Lions are found in big prides and it's not uncommon, to see them hunting. Cheetahs and leopards are still fairly common. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos exist in large numbers. The ultimate attraction is without doubt the annual wildebeest migration in July and August when millions of those animals move north from the Serengeti. Depending on your budget, you can choose your accommodation from luxury lodges, tented camps to public campsites.
Day 1: pick up at the airport, transfer to your hotel Day 2: departure to Masai Mara at 0830 am, check in, lunch, sun downer game drive at 0400 pm, diner and overnight. Day 3-5: full day game drives with picnic lunches, diners and overnights. Day 6: departure for Nairobi and en route game drive
