Once, Ayuddhaya Kingdom had been so great influenced to the region and the period of governing the kingdom was more than 300 years. Starting when King Ue Thong had founded this capital city in 1350, replacing the main city from Lopburi because of outbreak. And proclaimed to be the capital of the whole kingdom, it referred to Ayutthaya Kingdom. After Ayuddhaya period, the capital was moved to other city, the old kingdom was left abandoned behind as a ruins site. The Ayuddhaya Kingdom was terminated in 1767 when the King of Thonburi had consolidated the old Siamese kingdom with new base at Thonburi.
