It's easy to see why Brazil is fast becoming one of the most popular international sea kayaking destinations.
Renowned the world over for its vibrant Beach Culture and with the longest coastline in South America, Brazil is undoubtedly a paddler's paradise.
Paddling across the warm, sheltered waters of the bay of Paraty is a great way to escape the boat-tripping crowds, see wildlife and visit places like the mangrove forest that aren't accessible any other way. The views of the old town and the coastal mountain range behind Paraty are fantastic. There are various routes available visiting tropical mangroves, an old gun emplacement, tropical islands for snorkelling and beautiful sandy beaches.
