The Real Sydney Jewish Tour runs on a Tuesday and Thursday (unless these days fall on Jewish High Holydays) and the starting point is one of the oldest synagogues in the city and the most beautiful in Sydney. We take a 10am guided tour of the Synagogue and then we walk through Hyde Park (a beautiful part of Sydney) as we make our way to our vehicle for the day. We drive through the inner city suburb of Sydney and then visit the Sydney Jewish Museum which has a meaningful Holocaust memorial section and some of the best volunteer guides you will find anywhere.
From here it's off to fabulous Bondi Beach, not only one of the most famous sites in Sydney but also home to a large section of the Jewish community. For those guests who are Kosher we can stop for lunch at a Kosher deli or for those who are happy with vegetarian or simiar we can stop at a very busy and pumping Bondi cafe with a Jewish flavour.
After lunch we wind our way back to the city taking in some iconic views before dropping back to hotel. |
