On a one day tour in Hiroshima. we will visit two World Heritage Sites - Miyajima island and the Peace Memorial Park. One a place of supreme tranquility, the other a place of indescribable violence.
Miyajima is the island which has been regarded as a sacred island and as an object of worship for its awesome beauty since ancient times.
In Hiroshima, you'll learn of the tragedy of Hiroshima by the world's first atomic bomb through the A-Bomb dome, the Memorial Museum and monuments in the Peace Memorial Park.

go to Miyajima island by JR and ferry (There are some options. Please check Details, transportation method).
visit Itsukushima shrine and other traditional buildings.
lunch ( there are two choices; eels and oysters or Japanese style pancake)
go back to Hiroshima and visit the Peace Memorial Park.
go around the park visitting the Atomic bomb dome, Museum and other monuments.
take you back to the station or the hotel |

if you want to hire a car, it's posible but need extra ¥30000 for 5 hours hiring. 5 hours is a minmun duration for picking up and going to Miyajima and go the Peace Park. you need to go back to the hotel by public transportation.
there is a ferry between the Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima. It costs ¥3800
