Depart from Toronto going west. We will arrive to our first stop, Cambridge, town beautifully situated on both sides of Grand River. Take a nice leisure walk in downtown, make pictures.
Then we drive up the river by-passing Kitchener-Waterloo metro area - heart of Oktoberfest Bavarian festival and continue to St. Jacobs - Ontario's Mennonite country. We will hear the story of this community, enjoy walk in town.
After lunch in one of the restaurants, we continue on through the Grand River valley to the beautiful town of Elora - with strong Scottish heritage and the 'must see' beautiful Elora Gorge Provincial park. In Elora we will have a walking tour, visit arts & craft shops and continue on to town of Fergus.
We will do sightseeing and hear story of Fergus town and finally start our way back to Metropolitan Toronto. |
