The Garden Route is a stretch of coast along South Africa's South Coast. With wonderful natural beauty and a favorable climate, the Garden Route is popular amongst local holiday makers and overseas tourists alike. There are many activities and options available along this journey, make provision for 3 or 4 nights along the Garden Route.
Depart Cape Town and travel over the Mountains through the town of Worcester and on through some spectacular geological formations. The tour then continues to Oudshoorn (the ostrich capital of the world). Today is a travelling day as we cover 250 miles through some spectacular scenery. Overnight - Oudshoorn X 1 night.
Day Two: Oudshoorn to Knysna
This morning you will visit the famous Cango Caves as well as the Cango Wildlife Ranch and an Ostrich Farm before heading over the mountains to the coastal town of Knysna, voted South Africa's most beautiful town and a favorite holiday destination. Overnight: Knysna X 2 nights
Day Three: Knysna
We explore the Knysna region including Knysna Elephant Park, the indigenous forests, the Featherbed Nature Reserve and Knysna lagoon.
Day Four: Overland back to Cape Town or Transfer to (George/Port Elizabeth) airport for onward flight.
Where and When:
Meet up location: I will have a signboard and will meet you at your hotel in Cape Town.
End location: Option 1. Travel back to Cape Town and return you to a hotel/location of your choice.
Option 2. The tour can terminate at George or Port Elizabeth Airport.
