Amazing day trip in Luxor from Luxor hotel to visit sightseeing as Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple(our lady pharaoh for over 20 years), valley of the queens with the famause tomb of the prince where they found this fetus. continue your trip by crossing the river to east bank to visit Karnak temple(not single temple but it s a complex of buildins withi each other and Colossi of Memnon with private guide and private vehicle. Lunch meal will be served during Luxor trip in local restaurant in Luxor(upon request). The temples at Karnak and the Temple of Luxor were connected by an impressive avenue, flanked with grand sphinxes on both sides. The entire avenue was more than 3 km long, and must have had more than 2000 sphinxes all together. (only 67 sphix remain)Even more impressive than the Luxor Temple, is the temple complex at Karnak. Famous for much, but the obelisks are in particular fascinating from their high rise and complete lack of any practical purpose. |

| pick up , then you will move to visit sightseeing of Luxor Your first stop will be at the Valley of the Kings - burial place of pharaohs, hidden in the rocks, decorated with scences and funerary rituals of the period for afterlife of pharaohs. Valley of Kings is famous for Tutankhamen tomb and its treasures, discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter , next stop will be Hatshepsut- famous female pharaoh. . Inside temple you can see text and picture of an expedition to exotic country calls Land of Punt. continue to the queens to see a five month old fetus of miscarried by the queen mother. continue to Colossi of Memnon, guards at entrance of a temple and only remaining nowadays. Continue trip to Karnak temple, dedicated to the God Amon-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. In Karnak temple each pharaoh tried to perpetuate his name. One of the famous area in Karnak temple - Hypostyle hall with 134 massive columns with over three meters in diameter. Free time in Luxor, and then you return back to your hotel in Luxor. |
