Enjoy a pleasant city tour of Puerto Montt, capital of the Lake District, and the nearby scenic towns of Puerto Varas and Frutillar. Leaving Puerto Montt, travel north passing the lush countryside to the town of Puerto Varas overlooking Lake Llanquihue, Chile's second largest lake. Now you will travel north through the countryside to Frutillar, a picturesque village founded in 1856 by German settlers and known for its traditional German-style architecture.
As you explore this charming city, enjoy a drive through the old district and along the coastal avenue and visit to the German Colonial Museum. Stops will be made at the regional handicraft markets to search for some souvenirs to bring home!.
Also visit the new lakeside theatre where the famous "Semanas Musicales de Frutillar" summer concerts are held. Frutillar is famous for its delicious sweet pastry.
Tour order may be changed to alleviate congestion.
Tour concludes at the Airport, Hotel or Pier.
Lunch option available at additional cost. Add one extra hour to tour duration for lunch.
We recommend that guests wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bring a light jacket.
