On this day we first visit one of the morning floating markets around Bangkok. We take a boat ride along small and narrow canals to see the local way of life. This is the place to taste the best Thai fruits available in that season. We continue our way to Kanchanaburi city to visit the Bridge over the river Kwai. We also visit the famous war museum. Here you get the best impression about what happened during the second world war in Asia. After lunch you will have some free time to stroll around or maybe take a speedboat ride on the Kwai river to let the wind blow trough your hair. Then we drive out of Kanchanaburi city to get on the famous train that takes us along the highlight of the track. A wooden bridge from which you will have an amazing view over the river. After a long day exploring the countryside and some famous historical sites of Thailand I will take you back to your hotel in Bangkok. |
