Adjacent to the factory, the Ferrari Gallery traces the history and heritage of arguably the world's premier marque. A true custodian of the myth, the gallery, the company's official exhibition, receives over 200, 000 fans from all over the world every year. It houses cars, images ad trophies that have characterized the history of the brand and have been hugely successful on commercial markets and worldwide circuits. This is why the Galleria Ferrari is not just a museum, that is a static collection of cars and objects, but a dynamic exhibition that is constantly renewed from time to time. The museum is divided into theme areas, and each one is capable of meeting the expectations of race fans and expert connoisseurs of vintage cars: Formula One, Sport and Sport-Prototype cars, the GT World. One of the last innovation introduced is the Hall of Victories, celebrating the most recent successes of the Scuderia through an overview of the World Champion Racers from 1999 to 2008.
Upon arrival to Maranello we will drive around the Ferrari Factory to see its historical entrance, the Wind Tunnel and the celebrated Fiorano test track. We will visit the Ferrari Gallery. With a surface of 2500 square meters, the Museum is structured in three theme areas and displays vintage cars and higly significant original items, the latest models of the Ferrari production, and temporary theme exhibits. There will be also the unique possibility to board the Ferrari red shuttle bus for the exclusive tour of the plant. At the end of the visit there will be time to visit the official Ferrari Store located right across the Factory and see the famous restaurant where Enzo Ferrari used to go everyday, both located accross the Ferrari Factory historical entrance.
Where and When:
Meet up location: I can meet you directly at the entrance of the Ferrari Gallery in Maranello holding a sign reading your name and toursbylocals logo. If you are staying in Bologna area I can meet you directly at your hotel and arrange a transportation to Maranello. Please consider that you will need about 45 minuts transfer.
End location: If the tour starts at the Ferrari Gallery, it will end at the Ferrari Gallery. If you wish to start in Bologna and after the vidit proceed to a different site, please e-mail me and we will decide together the end location.
Duration: 2 hours 30 min.
The tour operates all yar round except December 25th and January 1st when the Ferrari Gallery is closed. The Ferrari Factory tour is available everyday at 12:30pm and 1:30pm.
