Yes there are many food that just doesn't sound right in Chinese cuisines, however, out of the 8 major types of Chinese cuisines, Cantonese is the most popular out of them all and Hong Kong lives right in the heart of Cantonese cuisine. | Will begin from your hotel. Depending on how empty your stomache is on the day we will plan first on how much food we're going to have. Cantonese delicacies and local snacks will be the main focus of the day. There are a list of local must trys that I will show you. There are many places in Hong Kong that you really need a true local to show you, I personally don't really take weird food so I have a taste bud that is simular to yours, so you can relax about what you will be eating. The Hong Kong government has a tight regulation on food safety and hygiene measures, so there's no food safety hazards. So all you have to do is to prepare your stomache for the day and let me know your hungriness out of a rating of 1 to 5 on the day (1 being you are extreamly hungry) and just follow me. |

I offer tailored local tours for groups of up to 8 people.
Depending on your requests I can customize your itinerary to a tour that suits you, to your best interests, no matter if you have difficulties on some activities, need to make special arrangements for your kids, you name it… yet the best thing is that we can alter on any minute to make you feel enjoyable and comfortable during the whole course.
The concept of my tour is to show how us locals live and commute here, what our everyday lives are like to experience the location. We will be commuting by foot, public transport (subways and bus) and taxis, rest assured, our world renowned public transport system by cleanliness and efficiency will surely take you by surprise. As by "toursbylocals" culture, everyone has a story to tell and you will never go wrong hanging out with a local.

IF YOU GATHER A GROUP WITH MORE THAN 4 PEOPLE, I SHALL CHARGE EXTRA US$50 PER PERSON, I CAN TAKE A GROUP OF UP TO 10 PEOPLE
Depending on your preferences, your personal expense of $500 Hong Kong dollars per day may vary.
However, tour fee does not cover:
Cost of any transportation, meals, drinks, snacks, entrance fees, rides.
If you are in Hong Kong for 3 days or more, I would recommend you to get a local "Octopus" card which is a top up card with credit inside to pay for most transports, vending machines, convenient stores, Starbucks, and many more chain stores. It cost HK$150 and it has got HK$100 credit and $50 as deposit which you can get back once you return the card. This card will save you a lot of time and hassle with carrying a lot of coins. We can got get one together if you are not sure. |

Transportation Method: Just a note that my tours are walking tours, however we do travel on public transport between some locations which will for sure be more fun than sitting in a standard coach tour and is all part of the authentic Hong Kong experience.
If vehicles are required, I can arrange.
Another note is that if you are planning to come over between May and October, I would recommend you to wear something breezy and confortable as it will be hot and humid. |
