Take a walk through the multicultural and multicoloured neighbourhood of Nørrebro (Noerrebro) and experience a lively, slightly rough part of Copenhagen. Previously populated by blue collar workers and their families, but nowadays with a new population of young families, students and immigrants.
Nørrebro is a vibrant, special mix of hip cafes, traditional Danish pubs/bodegas, mideastern shawarma joints, imaginative shops and bikes in shoals (35. 000 a day passing through the main street Nørrebrogade).
Fresh & raw, sophisticated & laid-back - and in the middle the big, parklike cemetery Assistens (with the graves of poet and fairy tale writer H. C. Andersen and philosopher Søren Kierkegaard). |
