Having lived, worked, hiked, climbed, and played in Colorado for the past few decades has allowed me to develop a deep knowledge of our state's wild and scenic areas that will bring delight and wonder to anyone willing to travel beyond the beaten paths of Denver and our other big cities.
You and I, together, can enjoy a peaceful stroll along a quiet nature trail or a pleasant drive over any of Colorado's wonderful mountain passes or scenic byways. Or, if you're looking for a vigorous climb up a 14er (Colorado's tallest peaks), an exhilarating back-country ski experience, or a long hike over any of my state's famous trails, I can arrange that too! I also know all the famous (and not so famous!) mountain eating establishments, rest areas, and scenic overlooks for those times when we need to slow down a bit or just take a break.
I, myself, have traveled the world's seven continents (extensively) and know the value of thoughtful, knowledgeable, and flexible guides who can draw that extra special something out of even the shortest tour! My goal is to not only please you, the traveler, but have you leave Colorado (my home!) with an even deeper appreciation of its mountains and wilderness areas.
To accomplish any of this, my extensive back-country skills, training and experience, combined with my deep love of nature and the environment will ensure your park exploration, half day hike, cross-country ski trip, or full day 14er climb will be a unique, fun, and memorable undertaking that very few travelers have been able to experience.
In addition to Colorado's 58 "14ers" and national parks (including the Mesa Verde World Heritage site!) I can also help you explore any of our 584 "13ers, " popular climbing areas, and countless trails including portions of the Colorado and Continental Divide trails. The time to experience the splendors of Colorado is now!
