Get to know one of the 7 Marvels of the Modern world at the Chichen Itza Archaeological site guided private tour, learn about the intellectual development of the Maya, their beliefs and cosmogony, admire their architecture, beautiful sculptures, and carvings, afterwards swim at a cenote, considered sacred by the Maya, they are reservoirs of pure, crystal clear water. I will explain the legends and history of Yucatan while you let your taste buds go wild with the wide variety of flavors, spices and colors of our traditional gastronomy! On our city tour you will see the Spanish heritage of Valladolid, the Government Palace, San Bernardino Monastery and the main church at the park, you will find a myriad opportunities for great pictures! |

Being a private tour you may decide at what time you want to start, I suggest an early start at 6 a. m. at your hotel to avoid the heat and crowds, but we can leave at any time up to 10 a. m.
I recommend to wear cotton clothes, hat, sunglasses, sunblock, comfortable shoes rather than flip flops, swimming suit, towell and a change of dry clothes.
We should arrive at Chichen Itza within three hours and the tour length depends on your interest, I'm in no rush, we will require two and a half hours for a comprehensive visit and you having time to take your pictures.
Afterwards we will cool off at a centoe, swim and admire the geological formations produced sixty million years ago!
An all-u-can-eat lunch will be offered in Valladolid, we present a selection of the most representative dishes of Yucatan so everybody can try them all!
Before we return, we will enjoy a city tour of colonial Valladolid.
