A great opportunity for travelers to understand the Carnival spirit is attending a samba school rehearsal. Samba schools are warehouses where each group that takes part of the great festival in February use for their practice. There are drummers and dancers working hard trying to reach a perfect performance. Along the year this practice is opened to the public mostly on the weekends so the public can enjoy, learn the music, a few steps and most of all take part of this great event.
This can be a terrific way to get in touch with the largest Brazilian culture manifestation - Carnival! |
