On this tour you will understand why the favelas are a cultural heritage of Brasil. The Community of Cantagalo, Pavão and Pavãozinho is situated right above the best area of Ipanema and we access it via elevator. We will visit an open air graffiti art gallery showing the history, the customs, the progress and the present of the communities in Pictures. We pass the administrative base of the MUF, the Museu de Favela, we will go to the cultural centre Brizolão and that overlooks Lagoa. There will be various viewpoints to both beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema and lots of opportunities to interact with the residents, to take pictures, and experience what living in a favela is all about. |
