At the museum you see the magnificent heritage of the pharaohs. See the splendid collection of the famous boy-king Tut. Never miss the breath-taking Golden Mask. See the impressive mummies which still have hair, finger and toe nails and teeth.
Visit the St. Simon Church. This area witnessed an unbelievable miracle in the middle ages (an entire hill has been relocated ).
Visit the Ibn-Tulun mosque, one of the largest and most dramatic mosques in old Cairo with a graceful unique minaret you can never find else where. |
