A wonderful experience, across the Sahara desert, by the Pyramids of Giza. Have a camel (horse or carriage) ride at sunset and see the Pyramids from the Sahara (not form the city!!).
This is the best place in the entire area to take lovely pictures. It's where the famous films have been made : Death on the Nile, the Mummy, the English Patient and James Bond.
You surely expect the Pyramids of Giza to be out in the Sahara desert far from the city, in the middle of nowhere.
Reality is entirely different; the Pyramids are by the motor way!
This is what all your friends, who have been to the Pyramids, tell you. So this fantastic trip is meant to take you away from the "hustle and bustle" of Cairo and right into the middle of nowhere. You will have the entire place to yourself. This is certainly what you EXPECT to see when you come out to Cairo. Like this you do the Pyramids right! |
