The perfect introduction to Bangkok, this tour takes in both the hidden world of Bangkok's back streets and the glittering world of its grandest temples.
The tour starts in Chinatown where you will see busy markets, bustling streets and atmospheric Chinese temples then you'll make your way to Ratanakosin by a river taxi boat, visit Wat Phra Kaew on the ground of the Royal Palace, Thailand's most sacred shrine, and one of the world's most fascinating spiritual centers.
After a stop for lunch in an authentic and excellent Thai restaurant near by the incredible spectacle of Wat Po, with its vast of Reclining Buddha. This is our next and the last stop on our tour.
Finally, you will be escorted to the Chao Phraya River and back to your hotel on a river express boat or a private longtail "James Bond" boat. |

| Meet at the cruise ship terminal or hotel at 09:00 am and travel to chinatown by taxi or subway, sighseeing the largest chinese community of Thailand, markets, backstreets, temples then take a river express boat to visit royal grand palace with emerald buddha temple. Lunch at an authentic thai restaurant on a bank of the river then proceed to wat po (reclining buddha temple), we then take a longtail boat to terminate our tour at the cruise ship terminal. |

| Transportation Method: We will take either taxi or underground train or sky train to China Town (it depends where you are staying), we will spend much of walking here and then continue by a river taxi boat to visit Wat Pra Kaew and Royal Palace, then walk or ride on a tuk tuk (motor trishaw) to a riverside Thai Restaurant for lunch before visit Wat Po (close to restaurant), then experience on the river journey by ride a private longtail speed boat (James Bond) back to the cruise ship (recommended). |

We have just returned from a cruise ending with 2 days in Bangkok where we found a wonderful guide, Chawanwit, who uses an abbreviated name Kay. Initially we booked him for a half day tour, but our group of 9 adults thought he was so good that we booked him again for the following day! Kay is very friendly, with a lovely personality and is extremely knowledgeable about the sights, history, monarchy and culture of Thailand and Bangkok. We would recommend him to anyone visiting Bangkok.
