This is the tour for all you fine wine and food connoisseurs.
Leaving the Auckland C. B. D we head out towards the wild west coast. on our way we pass through old market gardens and orchards surrounded by farmland cleard of native bush by some of the first European settlers to Auckland back in the 1840s.
Not to forget some of the oldest and most famous vineyards and wineries in New Zealand. On this tour you will have the opportunity to taste and buy some of the fine wines that this part of Auckland is famous for. We will be visiting at least 3 of the best wineries in West Auckland for tasting, as well as hearing all about the fine wine and vineyards from the experts.
You will also have the opportunity to have a Leisurely lunch at the very popular Beehive Apiary and restaurant with its exciting and varied menu. While here you can sample some of the worlds best honey, including the world famous Manuka honey, well known for its antibacterial and healing properties. |
