Luis Barragan is the mos important Mexican architect of the XXc and one of the most original worldwide, his sense of space, color, texture and the ascetic solitude of his spaces are best appreciated in his unique home. The Gilardi house is different, the spaces, colors, the great open terraces and the beautiful swimming pool make the place more joyful, and finally the recently re open Lerma River water box by Diego Rivera, a great work of sculpture and underwater painting (the water box is now dry, because the paintings were very damaged), all in all, an out of the ordinary tour. |
