Your trip starts in the charming town of St Remy de Provence where a very colorful market takes place on Wednesday mornings. The fabulous landscape of the Alpille mountain range gave Van Gogh much of his inspiration. We will follow his steps, visiting the peaceful cloister St Paul, next to the famous hospital where he committed himself.
Next, a leisurely stop and lunch in the picturesque and medieval site of Les Baux de Provence where you will enjoy the sloping cobbled streets and a breathtaking view as far as your eyes can see.
On a full day trip, we will visit a local olive oil mill and taste their home made products. A fantastic drive through the heart of the Alpilles will keep your eyes wide open while we go back to your hotel. |
