In one direction, you have the scenic route via Lake Mead's North Shore Road or via the Valley of Fire and then through the unique Virgin River Gorge to St. George in Utah's Dixie (about 3 hours). The return is direct via the freeway (about 2 hours). Stops can be planned at the Mormon ghost town of St. Thomas in Lake Mead and the Lost City Museum in Overton. For an extra cost, a tour of Hoover Dam can be included.
This tour can travel up and back in the same day, or the two directions can happen on two separate days. This allows you to take advantage of the tours and other activities offered in the area of St. George, Utah.
