Enjoy a walk through the Medina of Tunis and the Roman city Dougga .
In the morning, departure to Dougga - often called Roman Pompey of Tunisia, noted for the variety and beauty of its monuments. It is situated on a mountain and dominates the wheat and corn valleys below, that allows beautiful views both inside the city and of its sorruonding area.
We'll visit the Lybico-Punic Mausoleum - one of the most amazing and wonderful monuments in the world. It dates back to 3rd century BCE, and it would be worth the whole trip to Dougga in itself.
In the afternoon , we'll depart to the Medina - in the old Arabic city of Tunis- for a walk through its beautiful, narrow and lively streets.
Visit of a bazzar for a panoramic view of the medina and to attend an exposition of native berber carpets.
End of the tour and return to the hotel /ship. |

1-In the morning go to Dougga , visit the following monuments :
-Roman theatre
-The forum, the market and the main temples .
-The Lycinian baths
-The Severus Alexander arch
-The Lybico-Punic Mausoleum.
2- Back to Tunis Medina;
-Walk through the souks
-Panoramic view of the city and possibilty to attend an exposition of native Berber carpets.
3-End of the tour and return to the hotel/ship
