This excursion is planned to welcome cruise guests who want a short stay in Tunis and would like to book a private tour of the main attractions and avoid any hassle. You will have a chance to see the capital, including a visit to the Medina and the Bardo Museum which houses a world class collection of Roman mosaics.
We'll also visit the Roman sites at Carthage followed by a chance to explore the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said.
Visit Carthage - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Byrsa Hill and the Carthage Museum.
Continue to the Punic ports and the Antoine Baths.
We will stop at the picturesque Andalusian village of Sidi Bou Said with Its trademark white walls, contrasting sky blue doors and ornate window grids. (a wonderful photo opportunity. ) Here you'll have a visit to Dar el Annabi, a "typical" Sidi Bou Said house.
Departure to the Medina, Tunis's historic heart and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Lunch
After lunch you will stroll through the winding Medina's streets, with its souk (door-to-door shops selling all types of local curiosities) you will have also a walking tour within the modern city.
Visit to Bardo Museum, Tunisia's National Museum, including the world's largest collection of Roman polychrome mosaics.
End of the tour and transfer back to the port.
