Toronto Island is a different world on the edge of Canada's largest city. Your discovery tour begins with a 20-minute ferry boat ride to the Island and then a 3-hour tour by rented bicycle. The terrain is level and the walks and paths are easy to navigate. Most importantly, there is NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC!
You will find yourself in a photographer's paradise. Look-in on the surrounding beaches. Peddle through the cottage community of Ward's Island. Stop for refreshments at the restraunts and convenience stands---or bring your picnic supplies. Visit the amusement area and animal farm. Check out the yacht clubs. And so much more!
Too expansive to walk, the rented bicycle is the perfect alternative to explore Toronto's unique park and its gentle terrain. And the surrounding waters of Lake Ontario provide "natural air conditioning".
This tour is offered only on weekdays from Tuesday through Friday.
Make this unique experience a DAY TO REMEMBER! |
