Nubia is located in today's southern Egypt and northern Sudan. The modern inhabitants of southern Egypt and Sudan still refer to themselves as Nubians. They speak the Nubian language as well as Arabic. Thousands of Nubians from the north were forced to relocate from their endangered homelands to be resettled in Egypt and Sudan.
In our tour we will visit the Nubians using a motor boat and see the type of life and learn about their culture, and how they keep crocodiles in their houses and see the Nubian woman, her hand made stuff like scarves, bracelets, necklaces and other things made out of camel bones, stones and wood, And Tattoos using the black Henna with its nice and various patterns. on the way, we can stop for a camel ride in the desert if you are interested. It's also its a good chance to view the famous Agha Khan Mausoleum.
The Botanic Island is a garden gifted by the English general Kitchener to Egypt. It is filled with exotic plants and trees imported from all over the world.
We start in a motor boat sailing via the Nubian Village which takes around 45 mins sailing in the river Nile which enables you to relax and enjoy the nature of Aswan. On the way we can dock for 5 mins at the Camel station, In case you like to ride a camel in the desert (people don't like to ride a camel they can stay in the motor boat) and we will meet all together in the Nubian village (dont worry I know how to handle this.).
We spend some time in the Nubian house and try the Nubian food and drinks. You can also take a little walk in the village.
Afterwards, we go back to Our motor boat sailing via the Botanic Garden(island). on the way we will view the Aga Khan masoleum and the Old Cataract Hotel.
