You'll hear the Mandarin expression: 'We are pleased to welcome You!' all around you in Taiwan. The city of Taipei is just under an hour's drive away from the port in Keelung. During this amazing tour you will see the most popular sights and experience the best parts of both cities.
Visiting for the first time ? We'll see all of the things you would see on an ordinary tour - they're certainly worthwhile. But I will also show you the special places that make Taipei and Keelung unique, and you can enjoy them at your own pace.

The typical port call in Keelung is between 6 to 8 hours: so length and starting time of the tour is flexible, cost the same. I will accommodate the time of day, your schedule and interests, while keeping an eye on the weather and boarding time.
At a glance:
Depart for Taipei via the freeway,
* Visit the National Palace Museum
* Stop at Martyrs' Shrine
* Visit Bao-An temple or Lungshan temple
* Pass by the Presidential Office
* See Chiang Kai-shek Memorial hall and square
* Take photos at Taipei 101
Return to Keelung harbor via the freeway.
After 6 hours: time to board your ship.
Or continue in Keelung until
After 8 hours:
* View your ship from the white Guanyin statue in ZhongZheng Park, or
* Walk through the Keelung Miaoko night market, famed for its seafood.

| Meet up location: for cruise passengers - the Keelung Cultural Center side lobby. For larger ships at East 3 & 4 we'll meet at the same spot, after arrival of your shuttle-bus. |

End location: We will drop you off at the Keelung Harbor Bureau, which is the cruise ship terminal at berth East 2.
A shuttle-bus operates between the Keelung Harbor Bureau, a brown brick building and wharf East 3 & 4. It's less than a five minute walk along the waterfront and East 2. |

Driving and guiding are best kept separated on Taiwan's busy roads, so I am offering my service with a local agency and professional driver.

| Entrance fee to the Taipei 101 Observatory is 400 NT Dollars, including rides in the word's fastest elevators and rental of an audio/video handset. National Palace Museum entrance is 160 NT Dollars, audio guide headsets are available. You can pay for these in cash or by credit card. |
