A pleasant drive east along the river beside the Perth hills takes you to the historic town of Guildford in the Swan Valley, the oldest wine region in Western Australia. First stop is at the Cavershan Wildlife Park where you can experience direct contact with the Australian animals. Only a few minutes away is the Margaret River chocolate Factory for some tasty chocolate followed by Lancaster, Sandalford and Houghtons for wine tasting. This tour takes about 6 hours of serious indulgence. |

It takes about 50 minutes from Fremantle and 30 minutes from Perth city centre to the Swan Valley.
The first stop is at the Cavershan Wildlife Park where you will experience contact with Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas and wombats.
The next attraction is the popular Margaret River Chocolate Factory where you can indulge yourself with some delicious chocolate.
Only few metres away is the Lancaster Winery for some wine tasting followed by Sandalford and Houghtons Wineries, Two of the most popular and oldest wineries in the region. |
