If you only have one day in Stockholm I'll make sure you make the most of it!
You will not want to miss the Vasamuseum - an amazing warship that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628. After that we could continue to the open-air-museum Skansen which shows a Sweden in miniature and also shows Swedish wild animals such as moose, deer and brown bear. A good place for lunch as well.
In the afternoon we could continue to the National Museum of Antiquities and visit the Viking exhibition and gold room, or we can visit the Royal Armoury which is super-interesting and shows guns and clothes from our kings and queens since the 15th century and onward.
Then we also have to visit Stockholm's Old town and walk on the charming cobblestoned streets and see the most narrow street of Stockholm! |
