I am a trained teacher with over thirty seven years experience. I have been a volunteer with the local heritage society since 1984 and have won awards for both my teaching and my volunteer work. I am passionate about Newfoundland and have a strong commitment to the preservation of the natural environment and to the promotion and preservation of Newfoundland culture and heritage. I believe Newfoundland's natural beauty, the hospitality of its people and its cultural uniqueness make Newfoundland one of the best tourist destinations in the world.
