Day 1 - We drive along the Saronic Gulf's coastal road to the Corinth Canal and Ancient Corinth where St. Paul spoke to the Corinthians. Cross the Peloponnese to Sparta where you will see the statue of Leonidas, in his hometown, made popular by the movie "300". On to Mistras, the capital of the Byzantine Empire, with its churches and monasteries. Spend our first night in Olympia.
Day 2 - See the ruins of Ancient Olympia and its museum - the birthplace of the Olympics. We leave the Peloponnese by crossing over the newly built bridge near Patra. Drive through Arahova and spend the night in Delphi.
Day 3 - Visit the archaeological site dedicated to the god Apollo and will also see the impressive museum there. End your day in Kalambaka - at the base of mysterious Meteora.
Day 4 - See the magnificent monasteries of Meteora that seem to hang suspended between earth and sky. Return to Athens in the evening.
