This beach became better known along the eighties because of the enthusiasm of surfing practitioners. The surroundings of Pipa host surprising number of dolphins and sea-turtles.
Pipa is about 53 miles away from Natal, in the county of Tibau do Sul. Very clear tepid waters, endless groves of palm-trees, pools of sea-water, imposing sea-cliffs and snow-white dunes are stamps of Pipa.
On the way you'll see the newest addition to Rio Grande do Norte's economy: Sugar cane farms and shirmp farms.
Close to Pipa Beach there will be a stop over to see the view on the top of sea-cliff.
After departing from Pipa, Madero Beach (also called "the dolphin's place") shall be visited. |
