We'll visit the world-famous Panorama "The Defense of Sevastopol, 1854 - 1855", which is considered to be a unique masterpiece of battle-painting. It will strike you with the impression as if you are among the defenders repulsing the 1st assault of Sevastopol during the Crimean War.
In Balaklava (12 km from the city downtown) we'll visit the former Soviet top-secret underground military complex (submarine pen) located in one of the local rocks. We'll visit the National Preserve "Chersonesus of Taurica" that includes the unique historical & archeological museum complex - the remains of an ancient town founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC. In the historical downtown we'll see the Count's Landing Stage - the grand sea gates to the city. From here the ships of the Russian & Ukrainian Navy are seen. Strolling along Nakhimov Sq. & Primorsky Boulevard including photostop at the legendary monument to the Scuttled Ships - the emblem of Sevastopol. |

| After meeting in the port or at your hotel we'll start strolling through Sevastopol downtown, continue to Chersonesus, after that Panorama museum, and Balaklave submarine pen at the end of the tour. But we can change this order if you'd like. |

| Meet up location: If you are coming to Sevastopol by ship I'll meet you in the port and will be waiting in the parking area (as close to the ship as it is only possible) holding the card with your name. So, you'll recognise me easily. If you are staying in one of city hotels we can meet at the reception at certain time. |

| End location: At the end of the tour I'll bring you back to the port or to the hotel. |

| The tour lasts 5 hours. I recommend comfortable shoes and a scarf for women to cover the head while visiting Orthodox Cathedral in Chersonesus. |
