This is an easy walking tour--rain or shine. I'll meet you downtown, and we'll take the transit tunnel light rail to the International District. Then we'll walk a few blocks to Occidental Park and Pioneer Square area as we head to the waterfront water taxi to West Seattle. The landing at Sea Crest Park features iconic skyline views of downtown Seattle. Then the free DART shuttle transports us to the Alki Beach neighborhood where the first white settlers arrived in 1851. We'll have a late lunch or snack at the many beach area restaurants, and return to downtown Seattle. |
