WALK 4 Starting Point Piazza Navona
From the Fountain of the Four River by Bernini, if open, we enter the Church of StAgnese, the chapel
of the Pamphilj palace and hopefully see the underground with remains of the Stadium of Domitian.
We move on towards the Pantheon, but first we are going by Corso Rinascimento, Palazzo Madama, seat of the Italian Senate.Next is the Palazzo della Sapienza once housing the University of Rome.
Stop at the Church della Minerva, a truly museum in itself, (Michelangelo,Perugino,Lippi etc.)and then end with the majestic Pantheon. |
