We start our tour at Warnemuende, a fascinating seaside resort. Our first stop will be close to Schwerin castle where we get on board of a local sightseeing ship. A little cruise boat will take us on a tour around the Schwerin lakes offering romantic views of the castle of Schwerin. Returning back to the pier we will have time for lunch before we enter the Schwerin Castle. Enjoy the atmosphere where the Dukes of Mecklenburg used to live. Enjoy the marvellous views from the Ladies' garden room upon the Schwerin Lakes. During the afternoon we will travel eastwards to visit the old commercial centre, the Hanseatic town of Rostock. Let's have a closer look to the gothic brick church of St. Mary's with nearly 800 years of history. Passing alongside the Town Hall we will walk down towards the University sqare dottet with official buildings like The Guard, The Court, The University. Time for shopping before we will return to Warnemuende cruise pier.
Very relaxed tour with only short walk distances of appr. 15 minutes, comfortable drive for about 3 hours in a superb coach with air condition, time for individual shopping breaks. Visit the highlight no. 1 out of all Mecklenburg castles!
