Bach and Luther are the local heros of the Eastern German history whose fame reaches all over the world and gives distinction to our culture till this day. I lead you to the original scenes where the big historical dramas of the 16th and 17th century played. The protestant faith had found its cradle through Luther in our region and cheered deep religious men like Bach or Cranach on cultural success. In the architectures of baroque houses and churches you will discover the precision of Bach's polyphonic arrangements and the accuracy of his counterpoints. On this trip you learn much about the spirit of Lutheran, Protestant origins and its influence on both Art and Science. We may visit Eisenach, Erfurt, Wittenberg, Torgau, Naumburg, Leipzig (with music recitals).

Day 1: Torgau: Grave of Katharina von Bora and first Protestant church building. Wittenberg: Guided tour with palace and town church, Luther and Melanchthon House and Cranach Houses.
Day 2: Leipzig, where Bach worked in the Thomaskirche church for 27 years; Naumburg with guided visit to the cathedral and over the market square where Luther lived.
Day 3: Erfurt tour with cathedral, Augustinian monastery (where Luther spent several years), fishmarket and Kraemerbruecke bridge. Eisenach with Wartburg Castle, visit to Luther's house and the birthplace of Bach - including a short concert.
