You stayed overnight in Taipei. Before leaving Taiwan, you may have some daylight hours left to see one or two small towns in the Xinbei countryside. On your own, with a reliable and punctual private driver.
I'll plan your schedule with you to make the best use of your time between metropolitan Taipei and the Taoyuan International Airport to the West.
It's a good use of three hours; when you have to check out early or flight check-in time is late. Why hang around town or the terminal when you can stroll down the 19th century street, shop for local products and ceramics, see the temple of Sanxia, or visit the pottery town and museum in Yingge. |

We can plan the best route for your trip starting in metropolitan Taipei to Yingge, and/or Sanxia and the airport.
Inbound flights:
If it fits your schedule, you can book the trip in the opposite direction, pickup from the airport to deliver you to the hotel in Taipei. |

Transit time between the city and Yingge or Sanxia is less than one hour, and from there about half an hour to reach the airport. Sunday may have more visitors at tourist spots.
Plan to start your tour five hours before departure.
Most airlines in Taiwan apply a Minimum Check-in Time of 2 hours. |

Driving and guiding are best kept separated on Taiwan's busy roads, so I am offering my service with a local agency and professional driver.
Regular hours are from 9 to 5, at other times and for extra actual time surcharges may apply. |
