A felucca is a sea-craft, made to a traditional design, with broad canvas sails. Essentially, the craft is reliant on wind-power with no motor, and are dependent upon the wind factor to propel forth, so itineraries are subject to change from time to time. The craft carries between 5-10 passengers comfortably and the deck is strewn with soft colorful cushions and rugs and equipped with a canopy that offers shade and protection from the elements. . however traveling down the Nile by felucca is a 'must-do' in Egypt. The sun setting across the Nile in the evening aboard a graceful felucca can't be beaten. You can imagine lots of photos of Feluccas on Nile, however you will like the one with the sun nicely shines through the sail in the center. |

Love the sail forms against that beautiful sky. And the sunlight shining through that sail in the center is fantastic.
Always wonderful stopping by your stream
2 hours before the sunset you will be picked up from your hotel to the felluccas embarking site( dock) where you go for 2 hours sailing trip along the Nile river , we will stop by the crocodile island ,
spending 45 min. on the island or little more as you wish , then we take the fellucca back , and I 'll take you back to the hotel. |
